After experimenting (lightly) with blogging platforms like Blogger, Posterous and Tumblr, I have finally signed up on WordPress. Not really sure what took me so long to get here, but after taking stock over the last few months of who was using what, and getting some good advice from friends about what they use, I have finally arrived at the ultimate solution.

I signed up using the hosted version to get started very quickly. It was a very easy process, as most of the ones I have used before are. But there is clearly a lot more here to discover and learn. I am going to spend a little time over the next week or so exploring all of the options and determining what I need to do to get the Thesis theme that most of my favorite bloggers use.
